	About Us After taking early retirement from teaching chemistry in Overland Park, KS, Anna (Claycamp) Decker, moved to Burlington, KS. Carriage House Glassworks was started in a hundred-year old house. Beginning with small creations, Anna soon received orders for larger projects such as custom windows for homes. Today, she is working on 40 Stained Glass Windows for Burlington's United Methodist Church. to be completed in 2008. Anna recently completed a stained glass window, 6 foot diameter, for Burlington's First Christian Church. In addition, Lebo Baptist Church and Garnet First Christian Church have custom windows in their sanctuary created by Anna. Carriage House Glassworks was established in 1997 and has been an excellent venue for Anna's high energy. In viewing Anna's creations, it is apparent that the vibrant colors in art glass is a favorite with her. In addition to the new jewelry line using millefiori ("thousands of flowers") and dichroic glass, Anna recently learned the technique of glass carving. This technique provides wonderful additions to stained glass windows, ability to make glass trophies, decorative mirrors, etc. Jim Decker, Anna's husband of 5 years, makes frames for commissioned stained glass panels. The skills Jim brings to Carriage House Glassworks is very beneficial as he has worked a lifetime as a carpenter. He also installs windows and assists Anna in measuring for bids on large projects. Anna and Jim provide a complete package for your stained glass needs. Anna offers several stained glass classes in her studio. Memories of teaching, interacting with students and sharing her knowledge with others makes this a very enjoyable addition to creating unique stained glass artwork with students.
